TEA PARTY TALES

We’ve got a few fantastic stories and pictures here and on our website of the fun you got up to at your Tea Parties. If you have any stories and photos of your own – don’t forget to send them in as we love to see them!

Dan and Jack Hope hosted a tea party in the Christmas holidays for their school friends and raised £50. They drew lots of pictures of Wallace & Gromit and many of the other characters, made bunting from the old Christmas cards and baked lots of biscuits and cakes. Dan wrote his own quiz and devised many games then everyone watched ‘A Grand Day Out!’. Everyone had a fantastic afternoon!

Footprints Nursery held a Tea Party at the National Christian Outreach Centre in Perth. They sold cupcakes and tea to their guests, who watched ‘A Grand Day Out’, played the grid game, quizzes, spot the difference and had colouring in sheets. All in all it was a great afternoon with lots of fun for both children and adults and they raised a fantastic £82.00 for the Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation!

Felkirk School planned a Tea Party as part of their tutor group’s PSD (personal & social development) lessons and raised a fantastic total of £70.97! Jon and Zak really enjoyed giving out the invitations and planning the party. Most of the school came and staff and pupils had a really nice time together eating cake and doing the activity sheets we put out on the tables.
Toni Dolan, Felkirk School

If you held your own Tea Party please also remember to send us any money you raised to help sick children in the UK.
